My Story

The Passion of Photography found me when I was only but 12 years old.  I took a picture of a dragonfly nose to nose with another one.  My Mom said it was an excellent picture and to enter it into the local County Fair Photography contest.  So, of course I did, and to my surprise I received 2nd place out of about 100 other photos!  It was named "Reserve Grand Champion".

After that day I persuaded my Dad to take me to Best Buy so I could get my first camera.  It was a Canon Rebel XTi, and I was in love.

Since then, I have not been able to put down a camera!  I love talking to other photographers about it, and what they love about it.  I have also started collecting old cameras of all shapes and sizes.  Everything about photography just wraps me in fascination.

So, seven years since, I have taken all types of photographs ranging from sports to weddings to landscapes.  My favorite definitely stays with candid shots of people.  I don't really like "Studio" posed pictures.  Nature is my studio.
