Grandma's Fountain 2003

In May 2003 we added this new water garden feature.  Ten years ago this two tier fountain was in my grandmother's back yard.  After she passed away, my oldest brother inherited but he never added the water pump for the fountain to work. This month, my big brother is selling his house so he gave me the fountain. 

We placed the fountain in an area of the flower bed that I always had trouble with, since there was not enough sun  for most plants.  We surrounded the fountain with various shade plants, and they're flourishing!

We added spot lights to highlight the fountain in the evening. Click on the thumbnails for larger photos.
